For the record, I do not promote any form of illegal activity.

I have not seen any say they would like to stop the "light side" of their lives...
But, those trying to "leave the darkeness" happen a whole lot...
We removed unused forums Jon.. In my time here,, I don't think you posted in it but once or twice...
Not only that, but we linked to your order, and it seemed it just never "took off"...
Funnily enough, I don't seem to recall any "light" teachings here...

That is OK! What happened did so before you became a member here, and it was a holy crusade. As to unused forums I cannot say anything at the moment, but what would interest me is where you got this information about the forum I am referring to that I only posted at most 2 articles considering it hosted 3-4 pages of topics which I set up.

It started with Mortose's public journal (which I am not saying anything against as it does provide different perspectives on things). But now it has spread to at least three or four different threads, such as the one from Lykeios, the one benedictveritas started and this one here.
There have been posts in 50 different threads since the 3rd February (albeit not all of you can see the ones I can), so I wouldn't call it 'dominating'.

I was just, uh, more commenting on the lack of activity...
It was a low number to symbolize few posts, where I might say 'millions' to emphasize WAY to many...

Sorry for any confusion...
They (the forums) stayed around for a while, even after I joined council, and didnt really get put in mothballs until you had left for the biggest part...

I appreciate the flexibility within the temple. We are clearly given freedom to study, believe, and practice whatever we wish. The full spectrum is, as others have said, already acknowledged... and, more significantly (as Proteus stated), partitioning the foundational unity that is integral in TotJO teachings seems potentially detrimental.
Personally, I recognize the value of many dark belief systems and philosophies, and engage in (if these labels are relevant to you) both dark and light practices, but for the most part don't visit TotJO to discuss my darker leanings. When I do, I take the diverse nature of the community into account and try to be respectful.
I think of TotJO as a temple and sacred space, and do my best to remain mindful of that and treat it as such.
It might be nice to have a forum section to discuss these ideas, but at the same time I imagine there's a decent possibility that the conversation would quickly degenerate into regular misunderstandings and accusations from all sides.
