I'd be interested to know if the usernames you chose here in the Temple have a specific story or (spiritual) meaning for you? To get this topic started, I'll repost a story here I wrote in my Journal to explain the origin of my name:

Some time ago I read a book in which the author explains that every person actually has a "true" Cosmic or Spiritual Name which is the original name given to him/her as spirit. This name, in contrast to the "normal" given name, remains with the person throughout all incarnations.

Since reading this book about 2010, it took me a very long time to learn my spiritual name. However, one evening after meditating on the subject, I had one of the most extraordinary dreams of my life: I was in a big library with rows and rows of ancient looking books, all sorted in alpabethical order from A to Z. I had the intuition that these books contain the spiritual names of all people ever to live on earth.

As I was just about to pick one of the "A"- books off the shelf, a female figure in a red robe appeared to me in the dream. I believe that she was either my Guardian Angel or perhaps what Theosophy refers to as an Ascended Master. She smiled at me and said: "That's not it". Then she walked over to the shelf with the "V"- books and pulled one out. She walked over to a big wooden table (the books were massive) and opened a certain page of the book. She then pointed to a line and smiled again. Just before I woke up, I was able to read the name "Ve-Lo-Zi". Then I was suddenly wide awake and immediately grabbed a pencil and wrote the name down on a piece of paper.

Since then I am convinced that Ve-Lo-Zi is indeed my true spiritual name and I also get a strong feeling of peace and being connected to the Force when I chant it as a mantram. Up to know however, I wasn't able to determine if it has a special semantic meaning or comes from a specific language.

As a conclusion, I want to add that I don't have such vivid dreams or spiritual experiences often or on a regular basis, neither in nor out of meditation. So for me, this was really an extaordinary spiritual incident.
