Let us all take part in the building of a story.
The rules are simple.
You may post no more than one paragraph.
You may not post twice in a row.
Your post must connect with the developing story.
Do not post profanity.
Make it good. Do not post garbage.
I will begin...
The planet was a difficult place, a world ruled by tyrants, gangsters and thugs. This was an environment where intergalactic politics played out; where obese beurocrats bet entire planetary systems in games of chance.

Only one man saw this , only one man was troubled by it , he alone figured enough is enough and decided to take a stand

30 years. 30 years he had wasted his life on this horrid planet. He thought back to the beginning, when he had arrive. How naive he had been. How did they put it? A great opportunity. He had obviously trusted the wrong people. But they would soon regret their betrayal.

... Betrayal... Yes. A betrayal of one of their own for he had been one of them and yet still they threw him away. Down to this hunk of wretched rock, surrounded by these mindless drones. Death would have been less embarrassing for him than this... exile living with these tiring and primitive creatures. Living with a torturous banality of this planet's race. Did he mean living he realised... Or dying? Ever ever so slowly dying with these creatures whose lives lasted little more than three weeks... He might well have been immortal to them. But he *would* most certainly return one day to his former life among the stars. And then he would return the 'favour' to his old 'friends'. "Death is much too kind for them after this" smiling as he whispering to himself.

He shook his head and tapped it with the palm of his hand. It was so hard knowing peace like this. He had to focus. Surely in his travels he would have met someone who would traffic here. It might not be anywhere near "civilised" space, but a dive is a dive and a resourceful one can leverage that. He couldn't afford to be optimistic...he had nothing to trade, not even his weopen. Walking gracefully through the huge gutter that served as an access road, he moved toward the sight of redlights and the sounds of aliens.

The luminous spheres expanded, his steps slowing as he neared what seemed to be some type of docking bay; his features appearing almost monstrous in the synthetic crimson glow. A few more steps, then a pause. He heard scuffling, as if of several sets of feet; one clacking on the metal, "claws" he muttered. He was not accustomed to this world, despite having been there for such time and the aliens here distressed him. Still, he was tolerant enough, having saved two of the unusual creatures from betting their lives in one of the chance games so common to the city.

only to find out those he had saved later went on to rape two children .......worthless they were , as he aproached the dive he could sense a dark entity within , yet still he approached casting aside his dark hood so that he might better get a look at the place. he entered wary but ready to confront what awaited him
