Jedi Band (Music Collaboration)

Greetings all,

I am posting this on behalf of the new Jedi band called MINDTRICKS. We got our start right here at the temple when someone suggested the idea of a Jedi music collaboration. Unfortunately, not everyone was ultimately involved in the project. There are two of us at the moment, and we're exploring various styles of music. Here are a couple links you can check out to hear what we have so far (keep in mind, that the majority of this work is still in production):

The reason we're posting this is because we are in need of a singer. We have a lot of song ideas as you can see, but they are incomplete without one. Jayden and I are both guitar players. Drums and bass are also taken care of. We use SoundCloud.com to share our music ideas, and Mixcraft as our editing software.

So, if anyone is interested, male or female, we'd encourage you to upload a recording to SoundCloud for us to hear, basically as your audition.

Someone and I were talking about this just the other day...was it Reliah? Anyhow, we had the exact opposite plan. We were going to put together a duet for Jedi who think they're terrible at singing, and assault everyone's eardrums with some shock & awful.

Seriously, though, i love the stuff you guys have posted on your Soundcloud, and I wanna be kept posted if there's anything I can do to help or if new stuff emerges from this because MOOOOSIKS

Hi there. You probably have seen me on the minstrel jedi group. I wish I could collaborate more but I work for the winter and I won't have time until May (but after that, music will be my main occupation). I have a limited range, and sing in more of a screamer / heavy metal style. So will upload an audition, but not expecting much :whistle:

Aahh I ment to check out your stuff yesterday when I got off of work....I got distracted...

I've been singing since I was young, my range goes comfortably from Mezzo Soprano to Tenor (I'm female just in case you didn't know ). I was trained as a high soprano, I'm just out of practice in the high ranges and my head voice was never all that strong haha. I don't know what style you're looking for, and I haven't been trained as a soloist since I was very early high school....But I enjoy singing and can stay on key I don't have a powerful voice, and not much in the way of vibrato, and I don't have any recording equipment and won't be able to afford anything for a few months (not until sometime late Apr/early May after we find a new home). Let me know if I can do you any good and I'll give it my best

I usually do choir music, but I enjoy singing from celtic to Evanescence or whatever happens to draw my heart.

OH! I can play the organ at a passable level if you need something like that but once again I don't have a keyboard although I've been looking for a excuse to get one

Keep in mind we are very versatile. We need a voice that goes with many styles. Sky is the limit! Streen and I love new age, spanish guitar, groove, rock, classical, etc...etc... We are very versatile and our music will reflect this.

Check out our links and you will find there is a lot of diversity. I work full time and this is a hobby for me. I love music and I find this sort of international collaboration very fulfilling. It helps me relax. I produce one song every two weeks. I figure at that rhythm we could have an album by the end of the year.

This involves a certain amount of commitment so let us know what you are willing to give to such a project.

Streen and I work with mixcraft but Audacity is free. You can upload a song from soundcloud to mixcraft. Add your vocals and share it with everyone. If you have any questions on how the platform works pm me. I will be happy to help.
