Tikker - the death watch that counts down your life (Is this a good idea)
However, while they're in the process of creating this watch.. if anyone wants to keep track of their time left.. there's always the online Death Clock.

Or we begin to live from the moment we accept that we will die..
Glass half full/empty kind of idea

A novelty. Every second is precious. Not because some time in a way off future we may die. But because this could be our very last moment on Earth. There is nothing to say we'll see tomorrow. Live. Embrace each moment. Enjoy life. Enjoy the day, the night, the snuggles of a loved one. Go for a nice run or a brisk swim. Enjoy it. Who knows when it will be gone.
Personally. I do not need a watch to tell me that.

You will live to be 81 years, 10 months and 17 days old!
12695 Days, 13 Hours, 26 Minutes, 27 Seconds...

I just did that because K linked to it ...
It just occurred to me that I'm supposed to croak on the date that would be my father's 123rd birthday ...
But to comment the OP, I don't think that a wristwatch that counts down the time one has to live is any more practical than the above Death Clock result. What I do feel is a good idea is the part in the middle about being mindful of whether one wants to spend some portion of the remainder of one's time alive (from seconds to years) as pissed-off or forgiving, morose or joyful, busily striving to be 'successful' or enjoying Life in the moment ...
That seems to be what they're getting at, not the worth of 'just another gadget'.
