How to be happy

Ten things you can do to help you realize that you can be happy whenever you want to be.

1. Accept things you can't change. If you can, and want to, change something just do it.

2. Let go of people who are holding you back. Those people you just thought of while reading the last sentence, those are the ones.

3. Blast your favorite song and sing/hum/whistle along, dance if you want to.

4. Go for a run. A long one. Run until your problems fade away.

5. Call someone you love, talk to them they will make your day better.

6. Say hello and smile at a stranger, you'll both feel good about it.

7. Send an anonymous compliment.

8. Write down everything you don't like about yourself, then burn it.

9. Watch your favorite movie.

10. Remember that you criticize yourself more than anyone else. People don't see your "faults" like you do. They aren't faults or imperfections, they are you. They are what make you unique and special.
