correct/expand categorization

for each item
add authors (unknown or anymous or . . who attributed to)
add date of publications . . .or timeframes
add country of publication or region

consider readership . . perhaps that is already addressed for minors?
consider a library public relationship statement that reflects the purpose of the library, the TotJO and for site members

first things first

Out of me and ren only he had server access to sort out the library. Now that he's gone I'm the one in charge of sorting it all out (the categories and the (audio, text) etc) are what I added before I had server access. Once that access has been sorted I can finish tidying it all up (it's to do with hyperlinking stuff correctly).

This is an on-going project of mine so over the course of the next sometime in the future or so it will be completed :P

totjo server is in totjo/John's name now. Both are liable for any file stored on the server. There was no such issue before.

There's also the issue of displaying excessive amounts of material. totjo can sort of try to BS its way out with some fair use clauses, not to mention compliance with any DMCA takedown notices which normally shield against court dates... But there remains "good faith". You can't claim you didn't know if you allow anything in there. If totjo can get threats for a tiny poem it can get them for full books, especially big business like Tolle.

Also, the organization is mostly that of Jasper, the guy who created the library and did a couple of things like compile the liturgy book out of random sticky posts littering some forum... Overall I found the organization fitting for a small library.

So when did the Satanic Bible become part of the public domain then?

Oooooh ty all . . .

I know that I am just a guest. . . but if I could be helpful Akkarin . .let me know. .

Ren . . I find myself at times missing you . . good to see ya!

hmmmm I wasn't thinking about copyright issues, probably because I have tired of a copyright war that has gone on 10 years after the court case . . . .broke a community into warring fragments . .

good points Ren about copyrights and media rollouts. . "might" be why Tolle has six different publishers for each book, so he don't go broke if he gets sued . . . or maybe it's true that there is a lack of power of now in dealing with publishers . . .or both?

dates came up for me in this way . . learning about the author and when they lived expands knowledge and understanding and can be helpful in many ways . . . thinking about experience with IP and as a practical practice.

Earl Nightengale
John Trudell

Maybe a esoteric section in the library too, would be helpful for some

Good to see I can stop pretending that there is more than one, just in case you were referring to a book "acknowledged" as the satanic bible.
