Grats,

I actually made a 2 page list of names (one page for boys, one for girls) in the highly unlikely event I were to become a father....

Cade
Kravan
Tyr (pronounced teer)

If you're a Scot, pick something from your heritage, mayhaps? What is your wife(?)'s heritage? My ancestry is supposedly Irish. and my fiancee is an Irish immigrant, so we chose something from our mutual background, the Old Celtic name Griffin.

But since you're taking names... May I suggest Alexander (or spelling variant), or Drake? I'm going to fight for Magnus or Ragnar with my next son, something from the east or north of Europe for out extended heritage.

Names do hold a great deal of meaning for some. William is a family middle name going back at least four generations for me, from, as far as I know, my grandfather to my son.

Congratulations Leandros. I wish you both a happy and healthy pregnancy, and the cuddliest, smiliest baby.

Congratulations! The greatest thing in life is a new life, no? Some names you might want to consider:
1. Stinky
2. Sue (but only if it's a boy)
3. Tiberius
4. Scholacticus

Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.

Congratulations Leandros!!!

I thought of three names which could be translated from my language and might sound nice (also have an inspiring meaning behind them).

1. Jason - healer
2. Phaιdon (or Fedon for simplicity) - illuminating
3. Aian - (or Aean or Aias or Aiantas whatever could sound better in english) - forcefull

Peace and prosperity to your family!!

Congratulations. I don't have any to suggest (or at least none that go with ross), but just don't pick aany off the top 10 baby names list or whatever. My sons name is aidan, which was the 6th most popular boy name the year he was born. And now there is a full platoon of haydens, braydens, cadens, aidans, aidenss with an e, etc. I fought against that one, but obviously lost.

I wonder how many Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and Breaking Bad names will be given to kids in the next few years.

Cheers Guys,

I'm made up right now and really looking forward to the birth, The girls name we have picked out is "Aurelia", because it's a beautiful name..

As far as Boy's names go, a few good suggestions in this thread... sofar however the only one that has really sparked my interest is "Aian", I really like that. (now to run it by the missus) hahaha.

Also Master Phortis, "Dav" .... I know she'll get a giggle when I suggest it :)
