10 TV Programs that Stayed with You

I loved the "10 Books that Stayed With You" thread (thanks, tzb!) and ended up with some great book recommendations, so I thought I'd toss this one out there too.

Some might find this topic a bit more superficial, but in my life there's a place for good books and good television, and I'll admit to sometimes being as emotionally connected to a TV series as I have been to a series of books.

Please list 10 TV programs that were somehow influential in your life. Has a show changed the way you think about something? Or did you perhaps just find it comforting or identify with it? Maybe you simply think it's entertaining?

So many I missed!

"Spaced" should have definitely been in my top 10... probably "Breaking Bad" too. I love "The Pacific," "Legend of the Seeker," "The X-Files," the classic and new Sherlock shows - and "Flight of the Conchords" is pretty wonderful.

Really great lists so far. A few programs in there that I'd like to revisit and some that I plan on checking out.
