Alex- It's a somewhat delayed response on my part sorry- I was sidetracked for a couple days! But thanks for your last message above- the way you express yourself is very clear and well-written, :)
Now- to continue with the questions you asked earlier...

Why would one identify more to a supporting rôle-model than to the hero (or shadow) ? Doesn't each rôle have its own 'hero' development somewhere along the way ?

I like what you wrote about seeing the story from the inside and outside. I imagine that one would identify more to a supporting role-model if they could place themselves 'further' outside their own story (even if that is still seen from the inside. In theory these self-recognised 'supporting role-models' would see more clearly than people who can only see stories from in the inside if that makes sense. Although people can be supporting role-models without realizing so I'm not sure how much it matters whether or not it's self-recognised!)

What I don't like about your final question above how the question seems to suggest (by the nature of it's phrasing) that there IS a 'hero' development along the way.. And I'm not so convinced, :/. Trying to look at why I feel this way- I think it's because I struggle to see 'The belly of the whale' or even "The Road of Trials" as a positive part of the Hero's development. It's childish of me but I guess it's because I'm afraid of failing and I do have this strange black-and-white image of either succeeding in your Hero's journey or failing it (which some might say is part of the journey but often the journey can end or repeat itself in this depressing difficult stage of trials). It's not a very 'NOW' or 'Peaceful Warrior' way of looking at the concept. My fear of 'failing' and desire to 'succeed' lie mostly in the past or future (even if I am living it now and just projecting an image of the past and future onto the present).

:/ What I think now is that it's NOT so much that I'm not convinced by the idea (that every role has it's hero-development) but rather I just don't like relating or putting myself into the Hero's journey... Because I've seen the road of trials, and have seen myself running away from some of them, and very few 'Boons' or rewards. Not to say there aren't any, but some rewards are much more easily accepted or gained than others..

Seraphim- I've heard of the Art of Attraction and think I understand the basic principal behind it. It makes sense to me that what you believe influences the world, but I'd add that sometime we're (and I mean one) are/is so un-aware of what we think and do, that we can drag ourselves down without realising it. Still- it only takes a moment of clarity to 'bounce' back up and move forward, heh. Ty
