If Today Was Your Last Day

In either case I doubt I would think much about it. In either case, I hope I wouldn't know. I'm pretty sure I'd do whatever I was doing that day. Get up, go to work. Smile, hope for the future, eat, write on a forum, watch a favorite show. I might run into family, I might run into friends. Might get mugged on my way home. Then I'd go to sleep and never wake up or I'd wake up and keep going forever. Silly to say what I will or won't be doing for eternity. Circumstances are always changing. I can't even be certain about the time I have.

my answer would still be the same...of course i would have so much more to learn...

i feel eternal nature is certain.. . so, like, ommmmm . . .

The last day flowing through a physical instrument (body) is not a scary thought (it used to be).

So I have a vision / contemplation . . that at the end of the day I will honestly say:

Thank You to all and for all
Thank You for everything

It aint original or special :ohmy: . . :blink: it is what i say every time I lay my head down to rest.

You know... I enjoy my life... so... yup. It doesn't matter a day or a thousand or a billion years... I'd still live same way.

If today was my last day I wouldn't change anything.

If I were immortal I'd probably be looking for a way to end my life.

I would want to fill myself with loving blissful thoughts and fortify/consoldiate my spirit as I believe love and strength of spirit transcends death. I wouldn't want to be afraid during my transition.

Pretty much the same thing if immortal plus the pursuit of knowledge and radiating positivly energy to the world around me. If I could create joy in those around me I'd feel joy as well and that wouldn't be such a bad way to feel for eternity.

If today was my last day I would be around my family, enjoying them. Which is what i do anyway, 'live everyday as though it's your last because tomorrow isn't a promise.' Forgotten who said that.
If I was immortal...I'd learn to cook..LOL

I would wish for death. Because immortality means outlasting life itself. Watching those I care for (the human race in general) die and suffer whilst I shrug it off is no existence worth living. Of course, if I can prolong the existence of them, I will. But the inevitable will happen.

Not sure I grasp you on that last one...


if the (whatever you choose to call it) decided you should last forever(being the finite fulfilment of "time") don't you think that would have a beneficial reason?
