EDIT: I apologize for bringing this topic up here. After speaking further with Tai-Da, he asked me to drop the subject based on certain things Xaeon said to him.
I would ask that you all do the same. It was a mistake for me to involve myself in this matter.

Back up the webite.
Make copies of all our work.
Trust our security procedures and people to find this role playing muppet and report him to relevant authorities.
Sue his ass so we can have a marble and blackwood temple.
Seems a good plan to me.
Also, perhaps we could stop being so afraid of people ditermined to take down a website. Yes, it is where we congregate, but its just a website. Everything that we are and believe and know is within us. Its time to let go of the idea that jediism lives only in an online forum.

He took down the website of the person he had specific beef with (which sucks) and has made an indirect threat here. Whilst I obviously hope nothing will come of that the powers that be are alerted to it and doing what can be done... I'm not sure why we should take it any more seriously than that?
Letting this escalate into some kind of fight is frankly playing into his hands and I think as Jedi, we should be above that. I have no enemies.

I would like to point out that Tai-Da is not a master of anything. I'd support this. hahaha. And, he's not here at this order.
Don't see why it's a big deal here...

The Jedi are not a website. Or even a collection of websites.
It is a philosophy that is held by its members.
A website is an archive and communications tool. There are other sites, more secure servers, even diffuse interpersonal friendships over social networks. A hit to a particular website does nothing more than cause a bit of extra work and bother. Big threat...
Not really sure what the big deal is.
If you really worried about it causing problems, just shore up other methods of communication. Take the documents you find "irreplaceable" and print them.
LOOK OUT, this persons biggest threat is one of inconvenience. I know how we are all shattered by inconvenience.

Does anyone know the URL of the EJO site? A Google search returns multiple sites.

I've been chatting with Tess over at the IJRS for a few weeks now... and no... she did NOT take down the EJO site. Her own computers got hacked a day or so ago by this same Lord X... I was working with an IT specialist last night while some of his 'spam attacks' were messing with her computer. This same Lord X had also copied/mirrored her ID/IP so it looks like Tess is doing this when she can not... she's been in hospital after an auto accident.. so she's not able to 'do' this stuff right now.
Need to look toward the actual spammer/hacker -- the video wonk instead of laying it on Tess.
