Hiya everyone.

I have spoken to Br.John and he has allowed me to post this thread to warn all members of a possible threat.

Recently a site/order by the name of "European Jedi Order" or EJO for short has been hacked and taken down by someone by the name of Lord Xaeon.

It all started with a new member on the EJO by the name of heping. He was sent to get information on the site and tried to bribe the owner Tai-Da. He said that if he did not co-operate with him then his order would be destroyed.

Xaeon contacted Tai-Da and made him aware of his apprentice "hepings" plans. This is how Tai found out.

Xaeon offered to compensate Tai-Da's order but instead destroyed the forum not long after.

The site was hacked and destroyed only a few days ago.

I received an email from the admin stating what had happened. Earlier today I received another email from the EJO admin saying that the site was lost completely and all the work gone in to the order is history. He also gave this video link which he received from Xaeon himself.

Br.John has told me that earlier today a member registered and spammed the site with this video. This suggests that Xaeon is already trying to make his intentions aware. (Just my observation). I suggest that the site votes on some action on his offer as your site (TOTJO) may be at risk if Tai-Da has been here.

I have suggested that Br.John keeps an eye on security and makes this site as secure as possible.

I do hope that no harm comes to this site but I urge everyone to save any work they find valuable as if something does happen then some things may be lost.

My observations suggest that this Xaeon may be part of a group called Anonymous who have a reputation for computer hacking, which would explain the mask in the video and his ability to hack into sites.

I do not want this thread to become an argument or debate.

This is simply a warning of something that may or may not happen.

A note on this: the key to combating this is backing up the website, which I'm sure that Ren does periodically for ToTJO. So as it pertains to other orders that might read/see this just make sure your admin backs up the website from time to time. If for no other reason than to preserve the information. FA lost a lot of good material which predated 2008, because our software was buggy as "all get-out". If we had been able to access the information and save it we would have been able to keep that information.

So don't just do it because you might get hacked, but also because it's good to keep that knowledge around.

Strangely this guy is from the UK, aberdeen. Which is where Tai-da's from, right?

I hope Anonymous catches up with this guy. He isn't acting within their MO...

I know he's from the UK, but exactly where I'm not sure. Since he "ran" the European Jedi Order (intel forming on that one, so I'll just let it play out before I say anything on the matter), it wouldn't be out of the ordinary that someone from his same city MIGHT be on here.....if you ask Jacen(Streen) he might have an answer to that question.

If he is from Aberdeen then given a name this guy can be found and reported to the council, I have a good few friends and relatives up that way.

2. Poop happens... We recommend backing up of a persons lessons in the IP....

3. Someday, TOTJO will cease to exist.... The real temple is within us all...

4. If TOTJO fell, and everything was wiped out, we have things to a point we could rebuild in no time...

Maybe we could take it as a chance to do a little house cleaning and such...

I know, I know, it's not very Jedi of me, I just find it a little frustrating that the only other Scotsman that's here decides to come on with this garbage, ultimately the guy is no doubt looking for some sort of reaction (which he is clearly getting) - what I meant by the above is that given a name, I could likely find an Address to which the Temple's Lawyers (no doubt there are some) could send a warning letter of sorts (surely this is a form of harassment).
