For me, it's very simple... I'd like to experience immersive and complete virtual reality. Where somehow our consciousness is moved to another environment. We're already pretty close.
Also, please be optimistic in this thread. It's not for debby-downers.
It's not for "realistic" dreams. It's for the deepest inner desires of our hearts. Maybe they're poignant, maybe they're celebratory and near at hand.
And, it doesn't have to be just technological innovation. It could be social, political, economic, or what have you.

I'd like to see bio-mechanical wings for humans to fly with. That,to me, would be the greatest form of transportation ever.

For me it's always been the transporter. That's right the teleportation machine.
Wouldn't it be great. They're announcing snow this weekend, let's transport to Australia for a couple days and enjoy their summer. My vitamin D levels are a little low.

I would like to see all people of planet Earth united, that everyone would be respected, that we would be one human race.

I would love a teleportation device as well. It would be nice to be able to visit family and friends for few hours here and there without having to travel for hours, as if they lived right next door.

Teleportation would make deployments SO much nicer too! Oh? We need you on the other side of the world? *bzzt* YAY and you can be home for dinner
Or at least it would cut out the flight there and back! Took us 55 hours to fly from Africa to home

No more aging... eternal life if you don't fall off a building.
