Does Age Determine Wisdom?
Naya wrote: So should age be what determines someone's level of wisdom? What do you think?
I wish that were true.

Nevertheless all are due respect.

Ponder this...
A wise hermit is wise on the ways of what? A wise monk is wise in the ways of what? When a young adult is said to be "wise before their time", what are all these people "wise" in reference to?

Well gaining a new skill is never a bad thing, and we can't all attain the skills that everyone else has at the same time they have gained them. I'm sure there were things you could do at 12 that your grandmother couldn't. I learned how to do basic car maintenance when I was a teenager because my stepdad is a mechanic. Not many teen girls can say that. We all have our own experiences.

Well yeah I knew a lot about cars at age 12, but you can't eat a car... Is it wiser to learn to fix a car or to learn to feed yourself first? Obviously both would be useful.Naya wrote:

Lol, it would even work out that way with your penchant for the bartering system.
