for me i was looking for like minded people. im on a lot, just never really post anything. i am a pretty introverted person and have trouble opening up to people or start conversations. in fact it is hard for me to do so. but it is something that i am trying to work on.

The sky opened and a big ray of light poured down as humanity cried out for mercy from ages of suffering... so I went searching the Earth for answers. After passing through water, air, and even stone, I came full circle back to where I had started... but only to find more questions than answers. And that was when I realized that it's the question that brings us here. You know the question, just as I did.

A very good friend primarily. I decided to check it out after hearing about the site from him, and thought in general the people had quite a noble pursuit of being Jedi.. It's nice even if you're not a Jedi to talk to them and the other people around, :) There were (and continue to be) interesting conversations going on, and a wealth of knowledge and ideas to be explored.. It's still good fun, and I enjoy the atmosphere here so here I am, :D

Serendipity with the search engine in regards to looking up some Kotor stuff. One link ended up being one to the Order of the Sith.

Curiosity, and resonance from there.

Well nobody can really be told what the matrix is, it's something you have to see for yourself. I'm going to offer you a choice....
follow this link and the instructions there or else go back to bed and wake up believing whatever you want to believe. Remember, all I'm offering is the truth, nothing more.

Lurked for awhile thinking it was a roleplay site(despite specifically saying it is not on the title page). lIked what I saw. The more I saw the more I liked. Decided to go for it. Stayed.

What brings you to the Jedi forum?

More people and open-mindedness: both things that are lacking in many Jedi forums.

As for the deeper reason, I'm here in hopes of spreading wisdom. I've been doing the whole Jedi-forum thing for probably 15 years, so I come here for the same reason I always have come to any Jedi forum. I LOVE philosophical discussion :)

The fact that I needed more structure in my spiritual life. I seemed to have lost my way over the years. I'm Wiccan, but a solitary witch. I've tried other pagan communities online and offline, but I don't really seem to fit in. I've always identified more with the concept of the Force rather than a God or Goddess and during the time in my life when I was most spiritual I was a member (and later a faculty member) of a forum called The Jedi Academy, which delved into the philosophies of the Force and how it all related to our world as it is today. When I came across this community, it reminded me of that one. It just feels good here to me.
