Since the government partial shutdown, have any of you felt a shift in 'energy'? I have. I haven't even thought about doing my usual daily energy work for the past few days and that is very unusual. I was wondering if anyone else here who works with energy / chi / chakra / etc has noticed anything.

It's a time of change. :) Everything will be in flux for a while now that somebody's walked across the line in the sand, as it were.

We've been in a stalemate for quite a number of years (since the mid-90s, I think) ever edging closer to the two-party system collapsing from irrationality.

I imagine, then, that in the next few years, we'll see major political ideology change in Washington.

And, yeah, this really impacts the whole world (at least the politically involved with the US). I'd love to be Putin sitting in his office. Or Kim il Sung.

Well, what I mean is ... I use psionics as a means of energy work. Some people use 6th sense, some use magick, others use chi, and etc. One becomes attune with the energy of their environment - it is like walking into someones home and feeling safe, or feeling like something's wrong in the house. Some people can feel global energy as well, "what does the world feel like today?". I use this to monitor my environment as well as use it to create energy affects at work and home, and to help people. But for the last few days I haven't even thought about it consciously. The last time this happened there was a major energy shift globally back in, I'd say, 2010 and a lot of people I worked with suddenly stopped using energy and dropped off the face of the (internet) world. This feels similar to that.

I only feel some discontent but it will pass. This government shutdown is political B--- S---. It's ment to disturb and manipulate the public so the Republicans can get their way because they don't have the votes to change a law they don't like. Pure childish style attempt at manipulation.

It's just like a kid whining to get something he doesn't deserves it. He'll just whine more and more and cause more and more disturbances until you give them what he wants to shut them up. Childish, school yard, politics.

Vote the SOBs out of office!

Yep. I've even felt my own energy shifting. It's getting harder to keep my emotions in check. I'm a very electric sort of person when it comes to politics. It doesn't take a whole lot to get me on a soap box...lol

Do you guys experience government shutdowns whenever there's a democrat president and a republican majority in congress?

Re: Ren's question

There has been 18 shutdowns in U.S. history. Nine of them took place under democratic leadership and nine under republican leadership. It is a relatively modern event, the first shutdown being in 1976.
