And if we have a desire and passion to be Jedi? What does that make us?

See how easy that is? By that reckoning there's hundreds of millions (maybe billions) of Sith. Many don't even know they are Sith. Almost everyone has desire, plenty have passion and many have dark feelings and thoughts. Nothing to it. You don't even have to say you're a Sith to be one.

hoe the hell did you get that logic?

didn't you see desire?

part of it is desiring to become one

I'd think for a religious Jedi, as a matter of faith, it probably makes you a Jedi. I'm not, The Order is not, in the business of telling someone they're not a Jedi.

You just said desire, not desire for what.

But.

No problem. As long as you say you're a Sith and desire to be a Sith - you're a Sith. Works for me. Sith is an anagram.

Indeed. But when we make statements about passion and desire being sith traits, we cheapen ourselves. Just following this trail of thought to it's illogical conclusion.

A Jedi Can obviously possess both those things.

never said desire was a sith trait. John did.

I meant desire to be a sith is part of what makes a sith.

apparently that wasn't clear for two people who are ""experienced"" within the community.

Sith hardly corner the market on passion and desire. How many great scientists, artists, revolutionaries, (too many others to mention) desire to discover, create, change and are passionate about what they're doing? All of them.

Yes. I am not trying to counter anything you have said. Passion and Desire are what MAKE us.

when did I say that Sith own desire and passion?

you obviously missed the point.

The point is that, they don't own desire. But part of being "sith" is the desire to be one, which like you said is a trait found in many paths. Which I never said the situation wasn't
