Hello everyone. I'm new around here, but I wanted to discuss, and perhaps introduce the concept of ASMR to you.
ASMR
(Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is that feeling you get when someone runs their fingers through your hair. It can be a tingling sensation in your scalp or spine, or it can just be a feeling of extreme relaxation.
If you've ever been to the eye doctor and felt that sense of total calm and relaxation when the doctor is talking softly to you about which image looks clearer, then you know what I'm talking about.
It takes kind of an open mind, and maybe just a certain type of personality to really get into it, but if you're interested, I recommend doing a Youtube search for "asmr". There are a lot of great videos on there. Everything from just relaxing whispering, to asmr-triggering sounds, to actual doctor visit roleplays.
Again, it's not for everyone, and at first the videos might seem a bit creepy, but I find they put me in a state of complete relaxation. It's a great kickstarter for meditation.

I actually have ASMR myself, as well as several others here. Here's a topic I have posted in the past discussing this -

There is also another discussion that somebody put up since mine as well -

Oh nice. Sorry about that. I just recently discovered the concept. I haven't really figured out the search feature of the forum yet.
And yeah Akkarin, I believe that's what that device is for.
