Walking, stumbling on these shadowfeet

Part of the seduction of most religions is the idea that if you just say the right things and believe really hard, your salvation will be at hand.

With Jediism. No one is coming to save you. You have to get off your ass and do it yourself - Me

Thank you, Brenna. I think a lot of us lose sight of this every so often. Myself included. Any major change or superb performance is usually about 98% sweat and 2% polish. Unfortunately, a lot of us judge our own 98% against others' 2%. Careful not to get discouraged during your work day when you see another's best day. What you're seeing is their product - like them, do the practice :)

Jedi Knight

The self-confidence of the warrior is not the self-confidence of the average man. The average man seeks certainty in the eyes of the onlooker and calls that self-confidence. The warrior seeks impeccability in his own eyes and calls that humbleness. The average man is hooked to his fellow men, while the warrior is hooked only to infinity.

I don't know Akkarin, haha.

I saw a story once where this extremely obese dude's skin was fused to a chair.

He wasn't doing anything, but with enough time (2 years in his case), this transformation happened.

Oh and he had a girlfriend that would feed him in the chair that he never got out of. I wonder what they did for his bowel movements...

He had a girl friend?

I seriously need to relocate...the shallow b***es here won't talk to you unless have sixpack abs, a big bank roll, and a crappy attitude...

All changes occur only after significant work has been done....in the fat guy's case the work was done at the cellular level...

Roflmao...just had a thought....he gives the name "lazy boy" a whole new meaning :woohoo:
