On a more serious note, I would personally like to meet the Dalai Lama as he is a man of great wisdom, is very well versed and is knowledgeable. I suppose meeting him could be considered akin to meeting the Pope, as I have heard from friends and other ears that meeting either religious man is both humbling and wonderful.

The Dalai Lama also serves as an inspiration to many, as he continues to advocate for a free Tibet despite having the odds stacked against him, so to learn of how he holds such strong resolve in light of such adversity not only intrigues me but also makes me respect the man a great deal more.

I would like to meet my distant relative who fought in the Civil War and was captured by the South...once released they shipped him off to serve at Fort Caspar where he died of malnutrition. How sucky would that be?
