What is scary, is that here in the U.S. there has been some attempt to use Sharia. In New Jersey for example a husband who raped his wife tried to use Sharia as a defense in his criminal trial. What is even more scary is that the trial judge actually was going to allow him to use it as a defense until he was over ruled by a higher court.

Also in Dearborn Michigan there has been many cases of Honor Killings and Law Enforcement has actually in many cases ignored these events
