Here is some good advice on "winning" friends. Or, as I like to put it... strategies to make yourself more accessible to healthy relationships.

This is not my diagram. This is Dale Carnegie's and I found it on stumbleupon. However, I think it has some good insights that all of us could use here on the community and as well in our personal lives.

The parts I disagree with:
I think conflict is important. But, of course, in forming friendships, conflict can be unhealthy. It "can" be better to shluff off minor disagreements at first. Just something to watch out for.
It seems that in general, the bottom right list is about being assertive with your beliefs. Be careful you don't become overbearing or you might chase somebody away.
It isn't always best to solve arguments without resentment. Maybe a straightforward approach is better. A choice we all have to make.

Very interesting stuff!
Thank you for sharing such a diagram, as it serves as a way of viewing my faults and strenghts and not only a leader in my household, but also as an athlete, friend and community member :)
On the subject of conflict, some disagreement can definitely be constructive as it helps to point out flaws across the spectrum. This being said, I agree that you have to be cautious when serving as a leader :)

Interesting read, and thanks for sharing! :D

Wow, this is actually pretty good. I for once saved the mindmap and am planning on working on it and expanding each point to create, maybe, a short how to guide for myself. That is when I have the time, so it might take a while.

Very nice, Thank You Connor.
