My friend was created by toastie
Today I've received very sad news about my former classmate's death. Unfortunately it's very likely that she's committed a suicide.

I know nothing about her motives, as we lost a contact after I moved out, but she was a very good friend and I have a lot of good memories with her. She was an optimistic , joyful and energetic person and she shared a lot of my passions (like my love for Ewan McGregor).

The message is shock for me, as I've never considered her a person able to commit suicide. Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

sadly, those that commit suicide never seem like they would do such a thing, they become very adept at hiding their pain, and unwilling to open up about it with those closest to them.

we are here for you as you will be there for their family and friends.

and to all of our members, if you need someone to talk to, we are here for you as well, if it's something you wish to keep from the masses then you can always pm those of us on the clergy for help/guidance...

there is no problem that is insurmountable with the help of another.

This is certainly not the place to debate the rights of suicide. HOWEVER, I will say this, in your grieving process, attempt to learn and understand your friend's perspective. Grow from it. Never miss an opportunity for you to have deeper understanding of the universe.
