This is definitely cool and a step in the direction of the star wars universe.

definately cool, i have a flashdrive with an led on it though i probably wouldn't have though of doing that with it...

now some ideas to up the cool factor and functionality....add a speaker to give it audio capabilities...then we could store the campbell lectures on it and play them back....or for uber awesomeness install a mini video player in it....my brain is already working in overdrive...

Yeah that is definitely a very cool piece of tech! There are lots of things you could do, perhaps it's possible to design one with a mini projector inside... now that would be Star Wars Universe esc!

Looks awesome . I also looked at his site, the lightsabers are great! So detailed, even sounds. Too bad the prices are so high. If I happen to have too much money one day, I'll buy myself one of these .

Tseen Keh, I built my owns saber(light, sound and motion/clash sensors) recently that cost no more than £40:) Well worth it for the experience alone.

Good to know . I'd love to make one myself, but I'd need a lot of help, as I know completely nothing about such technical things. Wouldn't mind learning it, though. How long did it take to make it?
