The Grateful Thread

Today I am thankful for a normal day.

I'm grateful for long books with satisfying endings.

Today I am grateful to Old Rasputin not waking up with me.

I'm grateful for my physical health and comparatively comfortable living.

Today I am grateful for the trust my boss is placing in me to handle business while he is otherwise occupied. It is nice to know that he has the confidence in me to get things done in his absence.

Today I am thankful for a roof over my head, full cupboards, and my kitten Mikoto.

Today I am grateful for the lovely thunderstorm we had a bit ago. (It doesn't thunder much around here)

For the Spring, the flowers, and the sounds of birds in the morning.

For Senan, for his enormous wisdom, and for the tear in my eye this memorable day.

Today I am thankful for a good outlook.

I am grateful to have had you as a friend for the short time we had together. You opened my eyes to so many things and although the truths sometimes shattered my heart, you changed my life for the better. I'm no less confused than I was when we started and I wish I could talk to you about things from time to time. I will always miss you and treasure your friendship.. wherever you happen to be right now... I hope it's amazing...
