In a bizarre coincidence, a Family Guy episode featuring Robin Williams which included a failed suicide attempt aired minutes before the announcement of the actor’s death.

Very sad, the edge between brilliant and insane is so thin and vaporious. His explosive energy and style danced along the edge on the verge explosion and meltdown, until it did and consumed him like many before him. If only he could have hung in there and found balance but then he wouldn't be who he was. We would have been all better if he lived on for he touched the truth we all knew but denied or were to PC to admit. His striped open our core, we saw how silly we are in our seriousness. He showed us how to laugh at ourselves and we laughted with acceptance.

A man truly in touch with the living force. Looking past the laughter I see a man more in touch with the truth than most. That is his greatness. That is why we loved him. Still sucks and deeply sad.

Considering how he died perhaps "hung" wasn't the best word

Im sure that no one is going to look at it in context and have an issue with it. Your sentiments are lovely Rickie.

Someone shared this with me yesterday. I was fascinated by it.

Unintentional, I am sure it was...
Unknown perhaps, to Rickie, how he died...

So many of my favorite films...
* I highly suggest...

The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen
Hook
*The Final Cut
What Dreams May Come
Dead Poets Society
Good Will Hunting
*The Night Listener
*Being Human
Insomnia
The Fischer King

He certainly was in a dark place there in his movies for a bit... At least acting wise...

Too many weird Family guy coincidences... BTW

I'm certain it was just coincidental, I had just read the released info a little earlier and that word jumped out...

Maybe there's a "family guy" curse

If you guys get the chance, watch the episode of Louie with Williams in it... It's particularly haunting.
