a Stillness exercise that you might like to try.
For most of us, the idea of "all is well" and holding a "sense of stillness" is a difficult reality to except. There are many "reasons" not to believe that all is well in the Divine sense of that statement.
Due to our jobs and responsibilities, we seldom get to just "Be" - and Being is what I find a spiritual life is all about.
For this exercise, it suggests writing down all the words and statements that you can that define "stillness" for you. See if you can get at least 10 words that exemplify, reference the qualities of and that you associate with "Stillness".
Write down these words and then read them aloud. If possible have someone else read them aloud while you meditate and feel how the words enter your body.
Ask yourself, how can I bring these words into my daily practice of Being Still?
The interesting about the exercise is finding ways to remain still - centered - while moving through your life. Can I be still while working?
Let me know how it goes.

This reminds me a little bit of the concept of Wu Wei, 'action from non action':
"Those highest in Te take no action
And don't need to act
Those lowest in Te take action
And do need to act."
(verse 38, Tao Te Ching)
Kind of like acting in spontaneity I suppose, living with the flow. It's difficult to live in the flow if your mind is not in the present and preoccupied.
It won't let me have a blank signature ...

Me, too. Reminds me of something I wrote somewhere:
...Wu wei — the art of non-action, or non-doing. It’s not to be confused with inaction, mind you, for inaction refers to not doing something when something should be done. Rather, wu wei is for water what breathing is to us, or what revolving around the Sun is to the planets. That is, water doesn’t have to think about where it goes, it just goes. The planets don’t control their movements around the Sun, they just behave that way. It’s their Virtue. Nothing trees like a tree, or rocks like a rock, or humans like a human. In other words, to be one with the eternal Tao is to do without doing and still getting things done.
...So many people go through life, rushing about trying to accomplish. But, when we take a look at nature, we see that it doesn’t rush about, or get frustrated when things don’t go according to some plan, yet everything gets accomplished without fail. Trees grow, water flows, flowers bloom, the wind blows, birds fly, and the seasons change. We all live according to some sort of schedule, typically. But, nature does no such thing. Seasons change on their own and they don’t care what you’d rather the weather be like that day.
