I think that's all personal opinion. Some Jedi will be happy smokers. Some will decide that the habit is too expensive. Good luck with your choice.

I don't know... should we smoke? :D

Do you control your smoking or does your smoking control you?

Things like nicotine directly interact with neural circuitry and do cause addiction in many people... so while I think its ok to smoke, you'd want to be real with yourself and know you can stop by actually testing stopping. Otherwise I personally tend to consider addiction a bit of a weakness, as we have enough requirements as it is; air, water, internet , food, sleep, trust, shelter etc. Things cost so much I would not want to need anything else!!!

Aside from the addictictive property itself, there are zero benefits to smoking. I would noot presume to say a Jedi should not smoke. But I would say that humans shouldn't.

We probably shouldn't but let's be honest here: there's nothing attractive about dying of old age these days.

I beg to differ. Of course that depends on how you define "attractive". :P

I stopped smoking after 15 years. Best thing I have done, I must say this. If you really want to then listen to what you want to do. The only way to be free is to understand yourself and believe in yourself :)
