After reading that article, the only observation I can make is that after 75 years of studies, all they manage to conclude is that happy people lead happier lives.

Yes, those with stronger relations had happier lives. This was more important than factors such as political ideology and IQ..

They conclude that having a good relationship with your parents, if you are a harvard graduate, will lead to certain benefits depending on the parent's gender...

Not convinced by the scientific value of this study. In their study divorces are caused by alcoholism, not money (like the vast majority of non-harvard divorces).

2 out of 3 of my marriages have ended in divorce...

Once the third ends, I will reevaluate my findings if course... Death could be the reason for this one to end... Its going good do far...

But, it seems sex with someone other than your married partner also leads to divorce...

As my ed's found out...;)

I have also concluded by my own studies that life is the number one leading cause of death. :D

Actually the main reasons for divorce are as follows (with 1 being the most common reason):

1. Infidelity (cheating)
2. Communication Breakdown
3. Abuse (physical or emotional)
4. Financial Issues
5. Sexual Incompatibility
6. Boredom
7. Religious or Cultural strains
8. Child Rearing Issues
9. Addiction
10. Difference in priorities or expectations

Money is the 4th most common reason...
