The Humanistic (Fifth) Rite 04/02/2009

The Humanistic Rite as the name suggests is a secular one. Members of this Rite are not bound by the TOTJO oath and as such cannot receive either TOTJO rank nor clerical status. These could be described as the lay members of our community. As members of a TOTJO Rite however and their humanistic nature they are subject to our civil laws of conduct and are also answerable to the governing body of the EC. Due to their active participation here they still do represent TOTJO as any other Jedi does. As any guest here they suffer banning for any breach of our laws but not excommunication.

Through their membership of the Humanistic Rite and their striving of the Jedi way of life they are Jedi. As Jedi following their own ideals they can be very well be described as Shadow Jedi. The responsible will take over as PRIMUS and SHADOW MASTER of the Humanistic Rite.

They can participate in Br. John`s lessons. All other issues such as ranking, training, oaths... has to be decided on by the PRIMUS and within the confines of their Forum.

The author of the TOTJO simple and solemn oath, the liturgy book, holy days, the FAQ and the Canon Law. Ordinant of GM Mark and Master Jestor.
