I have a backup of the site from about 24 hours ago. I've sent a message to Ren. I have no idea why this happened and don't know if something is wrong or what. As soon as I know anything I'll post it.

The backup has everything that was here from about a day ago. All messages are there except for any sent the past day. I have no way to get them out of there but Ren could - one way or another.

semi-botched update and I didn't realize. It's struggling but slowly getting there.

Some of you may need to clear their cache. bash Ctrl Shift R a few times and it'll all look a lot nicer.

All gmail accounts have the tab "All mail" you can find almost anything back

even hangout chats ...very usefull

Ren told me he did a necessary security update to JomSocial (the component that provides the wall) and the script that transfers the PM's keeps stopping. Ren will see to this as soon as he can.

Next time that you compose a PM, Just click send a copy of the pm to your out box, and that way it will not be lost.
I have no idea If TOJO has such a function

Since a lot of them that I sent out to other tojo members go unanswered

Umm.... literally every PM I have had since I joined over 4 years ago has been restored along with periodic notifications to go with them.... All intermingled together with all the current ones... Yikes....

I can't find a way to delete PMs in this new system to clean up my inbox... Am I missing something, or is this a feature yet to be added? Is it going to be added? Please say it's going to be added..... Please ....

I notice that parts of my longer chats with people are missing, each time I receive a new PM, one PM of that correspondence is being removed. Different PM sessions with the same person or persons stack on top of each other. :ohmy: I am thankful that this whole message issue/ slow website thingy is being looked over! :blush:

I am also having this issues with lots PMs - my mail has only the last 4 or so exchanges available to read; and I no longer receive a notification e-mail when someone has mailed me through the site.

There is no way to delete a PM, old or otherwise. There should be a place to click to load older messages. I would consider it unreliable and not use it at all. Everyone should copy any old messages they want from there as I hope it's replaced soon. It will be a clean start. I wish I could tell you when. It will be when Ren fixes it or replaces it.
