Lost PM

It appears that my Temple in box has totally been emptied. Not sure if this is a glitch or what happened but I wanted to give the admins a heads up.

Actually looking at it, it looks completely different from the old PM system all together. More like a private chatting thing... No subjects assigned or anything like that...

Unfortunate that conversations from before seem to be completely lost... I'm hoping that those can be restored? Maybe? That'd be great...

Some small things I've noticed since this got pointed out was that (at least for me) when in the new "inbox" area, scrolling with a mouse wheel only goes part way down the screen and then it freezes (both up and down) and I have to use the scroll bar to navigate the page any more at that point.

Other thing, from the MyTOTJO page it says I have a new message within the MyTOTJO menu bar, but the inbox notification under the miniprofile has nothing, and when I navigate to the "inbox" area, no actual messages are displaying...

I tried sending a message to a friend (while on mobile) and when I went to hit "send", it didn't do anything. I don't think it even recognized that I typed in their username.....

Same with me.

Yeah, only way to get a message out it seems is to go start the new conversation from the person's profile that you're trying to contact, or to use the little message button underneath their avatar from within the forum.

The type name send message function directly from the inbox area doesn't work at all, mobile or desktop.

If I'd had any idea that my messages were going to be deleted like this, I would have saved them. Some of them had sentimental value to me

I have a backup of the site from about 24 hours ago. I've sent a message to Ren. I have no idea why this happened and don't know if something is wrong or what. As soon as I know anything I'll post it.

Agreed. I'm sure they have lots of it but I'm worried they won't go back very far. Let's hope there is a fix!

The backup has everything that was here from about a day ago. All messages are there except for any sent the past day. I have no way to get them out of there but Ren could - one way or another.

Ren is aware of the issue and does not know what happened.

semi-botched update and I didn't realize. It's struggling but slowly getting there.

Some of you may need to clear their cache. bash Ctrl Shift R a few times and it'll all look a lot nicer.

All my PM's are gone except for a few from 2014... Meh...
