I definetly could be wrong, but judging by the responses, Id say Im not, lol...

I'm not sure I get why you're bringing that point up if you aren't going to give thought to the reciprocal.
Im not 'doing Jedi stuff', personally... (Although I guess it could be argued, lol)
I am studying for Jestor...

specifically this..."if you aren't going to give thought to the reciprocal." I may be having one of my dumb as a rock moments?
Quite possibly, you may be having trouble recognizing that it wasn't a question. The actual question was "Why bother with the Jedi stuff?" and it was more rhetorical than a curiosity. The other sentence was a statement.

Was a response to:
Rickie wrote: We are all aware of our light/dark, Ying/Yang as I prefer. So why bother with this sith stuff? Your're just dragging in more of the movies thing.
If I understand your argument here, Rickie, it's that talking about Sith stuff is just needlessly brining in fiction lingo. Connor was making the same point about Jedi and then saying that if we have one we, by default, must also have the other. Like if a Christian wanted to believe in Heaven but not Hell. One needs the other.
At least I think that's what it all means. I could be way off, I have been before and will be again.

You most assuredly are. Try day and night, or any other dual metaphor that doesn't point to one or the other being less, or worse than the other in value in relation to the discussion at hand...

Alan is familiar with neitzsche - im betting he could give a lecture on the subject if it suited him or could at least put one together in short order
he specifically said "thats a genuine question"
i usually take people at their word when their words are precise
Rickie has come to the point where he sees it as being one path - i.e. growth and development in and of itself without the urge to say "this is different - that is different - we're different - youre different" and doesnt see that "sithism" has anything to offer which isnt either an indulgence on selfisness that actually takes away from course of jedi growth OR just an intrinsic part of whole self integration which is at the heart of the jedi path to begin with - in other words; unnecesary
Conner was annoyed that he saw yet another pot shot taken at his preffered philosophy
thats my interpretation
im curious how i did lol
People are complicated.
