Changes to Login and User Dashboard
We are testing a change on the front page where Community Builder will start taking over the user dashboard and activity feed instead of EasySocial. EasySocial has been giving us some compatibility issues after the upgrade, so this is part of making the site more stable going forward.
Guided Meditations that You Enjoy
I've been using this for help with a cold

I remember the long-ish body scans too, Adder. They were not my "favourites"...

Meditation is the one thing that one cannot put any effort into. "Meditation" means coming back to centre, "media". The only way to work on it is to "be there". It is not a failure if the mind wanders off - minds do that. Wandering minds means that they are healthy and functional. When it happens, you just have to notice where it went, and then - without judgement - just return your attention to where you need it to be 'right now'.
I will emphasise : without judgement ! If your mind wanders off a thousand times in five minutes, then just bring your attention back a thousand times.
If it doesn't wander off at all, then ask yourself if you haven't slipped into a coma or died ... at any rate, meditation is very hard to fail. It is also the only task that has no planned purpose. So, if we are meditating "because ... X, Y or Z," then we are not actually meditating.
"Meditation" is just "being there". Who can really screw that up ?

We don't meditate to become better or stronger or more ... whatever. We meditate just to have an interval of time (several hours or just a few seconds) wherein we can let all that thought - the voices in our head - not occupy the entirety of our being-ness. Indeed, it is healthy and ... well, like Watts said, "it is fun" just to BE without any objectivity pressing upon us.
I'm not just saying this for Ros, but for everyone. The hardest thing about meditation is clearing out a space for doing it. Once one starts letting all that thought go on doing whatever it does when we're not listening to it, one is meditating. Sitting at stop lights or riding a crowded lift are perfect times for a few seconds of mere, blissful "being-there-ness".
It wasn't a rebuttal. It was a reminder... That's my rôle, after all.
