Really good stuff, :)

Although ignoring your feelings isn't exactly the best response all the time either. I guess context plays an important part here...

From Phlagethon to Phenomenology to whatever follows. Pick up pen and paper and ponder profoundly ...

Why introspection matters...

What I found pretty interesting was the numbing we occasionally do in order to lower the pain of that thorn in our side- an interesting (but not almighty) metaphor at least for what's going on when we're in pain...

I've told people for a while that, for as clever as the School of Life short (minuscule, in fact) lessons are good food for thought, some of their presentations do get a few things wrong. Personally, I like most of what de Botton (et al.) talk about, but sometimes what he/they say(s) is worth discussing ...

This bloke is pretty merciless with them, but mine de rien, he makes some apte observations too.

I guess this is why I enjoy School of Life. Cultural Mining bringing a little added perception to my life generally...

Enjoy!

Much later... (I haven't been watching so many videos recently)

But as for this one, I wonder how much this advice applies to couples regardless of whether one gets married or not. Enjoy.
