These School of Life lessons are pretty good introductions, I use them in several of my undergraduate classes.

I wish they would made some more.

(By the way, Heidegger's philosophy of art is my dissertation topic.)

I don't mean to put up a certain number of these videos (say... a hundred?) but as far as I'm aware- no one's complaining about it so I'll keep putting up the occasional one which might be of interest or a reminder to something one already 'knows'.

A very interesting explanation for BAD TASTE.

We sometimes talk about mediation. While there is a risk and even danger in complicating (or ruining) matters by offering various different systems of 'meditation' here is a different system that I'm not sure I would even call meditation by the School of Life. It might however be useful to those more interested in hearing their own thoughts and perhaps to some extent accepting them...

I hadn't heard of this philosopher before but it's excellent.

I really quite like it, :) Enjoy!

History of Ideas- Religion.

This might be interesting for some who see Jediism as a religion and are asked the question- what does it serve? What do all religions serve? Enjoy.

Astrophysics and Religion- perhaps as almost a follow up to the previous post...

It can be nice to have that sense of awe but sometimes it seems like the numbers are so big and the possibilities are so small that I tell myself i can't imagine. Perhaps the awe comes from that imagination I and perhaps we sometimes don't care for...
