However I dont understand why you dont just make it a disscussion here?
Some of the points you made I agree with and think would make for a good discussion
I agree.

Dearest Streen, the past may have shaped you but it is no indicator of the present, you are a wonderful person. Shame/guilt is a lesson a curse and a gift depending how you look at it, but that could be said about all kinds of things right?
If you wish to do things different or to start all over I would like to encourage you to do it. There is beauty in change as it reminds us of 'value'. If you need an ear please PM the Clergy or someone you feel comfortable with. If there is something I can help you with please let me know.

you say you wish you could do things differently but this is the same pattern you always follow
i mean its almost verbatum
"gee, sorry everybody. i know ive been doing things wrong but you know, ive come to realize something... oh btw, heres a link to my new website"
....then you vanish
so maybe you could do things differently this time by engaging some of the people in this thread who have made genuine attempt to talk to you.
i dont mean ME btw lol i give you a hard time all the time so i dont blame you for not wanting to answer to me, but martalina and zenchi, br john and elizabeth, and now codex, all have made an attempt, a sincere attempt i think, to create a dialogue with you.
you could honor those attempts, show them the respect that such bids for connection deserve, if youd really like to do things differently
everybody wants to be accepted, and we all want to feel connected to others, maybe thats what youre after right now. if so, heres your chance; you opened this topic, stick with it. dont just linkdrop and disappear this time

I know most people here have a poor perception of me, and I don't blame them
That probably gives you comfort,
The alternative being that we have no perception of you at all
Anyway, your post reads like one of a million spam emails I get each day "I can't talk here, but check out my pics on hotrussianbridesdotcom xoxox"
I'm not in the business of clicking on strange links, so either make your thoughts known here, on the forum, where people discuss their thoughts, or go away

You know what they say, want to never be proven wrong? Start a blog.
Streen, you should definitely sell ebooks. Suspense and emotional appeal work wonderfully there.

The optimist expects it to change;
The realist adjusts the sails.

This is not a dig designed to inflict damage for damages sake. Moreso it's an attempt at a wakeup call... although probably a futile one as you seem to never learn and never get better. The curtain closed on your tired act some time ago and yet you continue to perform, oblivious that your audience has become bored with the hipocracy and left.
I don't know what else to say... if you can't recognize these facts you are truly lost. Many here still want to help, although only "the force" knows why, but if you can't make that first step into the light and truly admit you have a very deep seated problem there is no path back. Only you can make that journey through the dark to reach out in true sincerity, no one else.

My first thought after reading this. Made me smile.

Yes, it is annoying, and borderline a breach of the spirit of the 'don't post just to link to ones own site', but unless someone is a qualified mental health expert I am going to assume it's name calling and itself a breach of the rules.
Something to consider is that cleaning up ones own posts of offending phrases does help remove prior history for people prone to repeat offending, but most importantly mitigates the damage caused by the initial breach.

Anyway, I try to contribute, but I find I rarely have anything to say. "He who knows does not speak; he who speaks does not know". Ya know?
I'll agree to drop the drama though.

Like life, things aren't usually that black and white, especially here. It's easy to sit in the background and play it safe, we have more than our share of introverts...
I didn't suggest posting in every thread, just contribute regularly with your opinion. Be a small cog for once, and one day that bs behind you will cease to matter. Will take a good deal of time though...

I think most people have. What's important is that you learn from those mistakes and make reparations.Streen wrote: I've made a lot of mistakes in my life. I don't follow... who's said that? Why would one's previous studies be irrelevant?Streen wrote: It's been said that I have not had any new ideas in a long time, that my 20 years as a Jedi are irrelevant if I haven't done anything recent.

This statement on your website confuses me for several reasons:
1. If you're against the Jedi Religion, why are you posting this in a Church? I appreciate not everyone her is a follower of the 'religion' but surely you see my point?
2. You say your focusing on 'self-fulfilment and liberation of the mind', whilst perhaps not the ONLY things we focus on here, are they not still a large focus of what we do here? And if so, then what are you trying to offer that is different to what is offered here?

Streen wrote: Okay, I'm obviously doing something wrong here, so if I were to turn over a new leaf, what would be my first step?
Streen, all I know about you is the ranting. Every time I've seen you post in the past it was a verbal diarrhea of attacks without discussion. For me when I see any of your accounts pop up on threads I think "Oh gods, what's he up to now?" and don't normally open the threads unless I'm bored and feel like watching some drama.
I was bored so here I am

Now, if you are sincere in wanting to be a part of the community, I also recommend putting input into the forums. Thing is, I have no idea who you are and I can be considered among the 'old timers' here now.
"He who knows does not speak; he who speaks does not know". Ya know?
"Actions speak louder than words" and all that, but the problem with the internet is there's no action, there's only words. We can only learn and instruct with words here. Words show us the shape of a person. And those words over time will build the reputation of that person. I'd hazard to say that when I choose to speak, most of the folks who've been around for a while will give weight to my words. Since I haven't been as active lately, the newcomers don't know me yet. Some people I'll take their words as law (so to speak), then there are other folks who when they speak, I disregard them. Both for the same reason. Their words over time have proven worthwhile (or not) to listen to.
So find a thread that's interesting to you, and add your thoughts and engage in discussion. Ask questions, involve yourself in chat. These are all ways we get to know you and how to build your reputation one way or the other if that is what you desire.
