the first one works well with the master/apprentice idea since it's a back and forth relationship. each learning from and teaching the other. what you do to your apprentice you do to yourself and vice versa.
the second is about how talking the path is not enough, you have to walk the path as well, otherwise how can you lead others down it.
the third one...a virtuous person will have friends and will draw in other virtuous people.
