Calm down, calm down :D It's just a browser :D

Really, though... browser choice is everything...

maybe it's only on macs? A textarea uses the system toolkit... That could be the problem.

Connor Lidell wrote: I use Chrome and I have the same issue.

But, I have also found a fix for it.
If you quote text, delete and the box disappears: find the corner, and drag it back out like you would to resize the box anyway, and it will reappear.

I haven't tried that method out yet but, from what you've described, I think that's probably the right fix, considering how we seem to have experienced the same tech problem.

I completely agree - Chrome is, by far, the best internet browser I've ever used! I used to have a PC (which was a total virus mosquito-pool, by the way...) and I used Chrome on that computer too. The browser is so simple, but retains everything necessary for a browser. Such a beautiful design, good speed, and simplicity. That's a perfect browser, in my opinion.

ren wrote: Definitely a browser issue, we use a regular textarea... I use chrome and firefox on linux and never faced that issue.

I'm starting to believe that there are just certain issues with macs that I'll have to accept....given that I've converted from PCs to Macs. I just love apple products now....I recently bought a new iPod Touch, in addition to this macbook, and a small, inconvenient "browser issue" (as you put it) probably won't deter me away from macs.
