Is there any bar to joining The Jedi Order in taking its teachings and meanings as a form of a moral philosophy and means of personal enlightenment? Or is this strictly given the title of a church per se? Because before I found out about this I was basically doing that anyways after first seeing the Code a long time ago and followed most of the Doctrine I've read on the site before I've even read them on here.

I have found that there are many people out there who are Jedi and don't realize it. :D

Whether there were a bar or not, who could enforce it? And we may be great one day and not so great the next. I am only as Jedi as I can be in this moment... everything else is up for grabs. ;)

hahahhaha :D

I agree with above, though I consider the oath represents a personal conviction to commit to the Order's doctrine.

A major function of a church is a meeting place for members of a community.
