The Force Weaves and Flows

Hi all!!
I noticed that the forums here don't get much love, I know that's a natural progression to instant comms like the discord, but I thought we could add in something a little fun

This is a cooperative story relay thread.

Each post may be up to a MAX of 10 words, and every reply should try to follow the "Yes, And" principle: accept what came before, then add to it in a way that keeps the story moving.

Please keep the theme loosely relevant, avoid dead ends, and leave room for the next person to continue.

A few Rules!! Because we all love the rules... *cough* Doctrine *cough*

The Flow of the Story
Each post may be up to 10 words only. - This can be scene or dialogue.
Keep the story moving forward in a way that feels semi-relevant to what came before.
Build on the previous post rather than resetting the scene or changing the subject abruptly.
Think in terms of "Yes, And": accept what came before, then add to it.

What To Avoid
No dead ends, hard stops, or posts that make it impossible for the next person to continue.
Avoid overly final endings like “and then everyone died” or “the end.”
Don’t force the story into a corner with impossible twists or totally disconnected ideas.
Keep it family-friendly, respectful, and in keeping with Temple standards.

Style and Tone
Short, creative, and playful is encouraged.
A little mystery, humour, or atmosphere is fine, so long as it still connects.
Stay broadly on theme, but don’t worry about making it perfect or serious.
The aim is cooperation, not winning.
Write in the 3rd person so that we all have a similar way to view the story.

Posting Etiquette
Read the last few posts before replying so your line fits naturally.
If possible, leave the story open enough for another member to continue.
If a post breaks the flow, gently steer it back on track rather than stopping the game.
One contribution per post, so everyone gets a chance to take part.
No Double-Posting. (IE Posting twice in a row - this is collaborative)
