Returning to the Order

Hello there,

It's been almost a year since I joined the Order, and almost a year since I went inactive and was lead in the wrong direction. I let myself get distracted and fell from the Jedi Path. I became selfish and impatient with the way things in my life were going. I finished my second semester of college in May, but was not admitted for my second year because of financial aid issues. In result of that, I became bitter and have been having a hard time dealing with it. I hate the way it sounds, but I would like to come back to the Order for guidance. I let my frustration and anger cloud my mind.

You did not fall from the Path, brother. This is all part of it. Sometimes the Path is clear. Sometimes it leads us through thorny bushes and dark forests. What is important is that you keep moving forward. I'm glad you are back here and hopefully we can help you on your way. This step, on this Path, in this moment.

There was a day I realized all this ( my path and my chioces ) led me to here to where I am today.

Its OK to stumble and fall. The trick is getting up and trudging on. We can fall flat on our face and all if alright if we stand up and find our feet are still pointing in the right direction. One day at a time, one step at a time.

Life presents us with many chances for experience. Sometimes in ways we do not expect.

Welcome back to TOTJO.

I have had many loooonng absences from the community during my time here. An absence is what you choose it to be: an irredeemable mistake or a tremendous learning experience. As Senan said, there is no break from the path. The absence, the bitterness, it is all part of the same path. Sometimes, the path can only be seen in hindsight.

Do not despair, Reylan. As some have already pointed out, we aren't all on the good path all the time. Light and dark are merely directions we walk in. Make no mistake that you stand on nothing but your own two feet.

You choose which direction to go in, and neither one is better than another, because they all lead to the Force.

Choose, and act.
