Live Sermon August 31, 2016 9 p.m. GMT

Please come join me for my first live sermon. I am nervous, but I have a message that I think we all need to hear. I look forward to it with an open heart and open ears. Any and all advice is welcome from those that have already given a sermon.
I am not really sure what else to say except that I hope to see you all there!

Whether or not this goes well, I have something to say that I consider important. I think it is something that the community needs to hear and possibly even meditate upon. I don't want to put too much build up on it and have people go away disappointed, so I will leave it there. I will be speaking from my heart.
I look forward to seeing you all there for my sermon and if all goes well, I may do more in the future.

You will be fine. I was just as nervous when I did my own a bit ago. But is not anywhere near as bad as ya think. Though a bit of advice as you are going to be doing a copy paste from the written submission I suggest double spacing your work to make that task easier. At least that helped me a lot. Good luck and I will try to be there if school does not keep me tied up.

9 p.m GMT what's that in UTC? Due to daylight savings time I'm having a hard time calculating the time zones and completely rely on the UTC calculator

At least in my own personal trial just now.

GMT and UTC are the same thing.

UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) mean the same thing; you may be thinking of British time which is currently an hour ahead, or GMT+1. Since you live in Switzerland, Cyan, you're two hours ahead of UTC: GMT+2, which means this sermon will be at 11 PM your time.

I know that CET is one hour ahead of GMT (plus another hour during DST) - what I don't know is when the individual countries outside of Europe switch to DST and back. I believe the US doesn't do so at the same time as Europe, so I simply rely on the UTC chart. Sorry for my ignorance in terms of UTC and GMT.

No worries. CET is GMT+2, but this time of year, you're on CEST (presumably, Central European Summer Time), which is GMT+2. Daylight saving time is a pain, innit?

I'm on BST (British Standard Time)... only 1 hour different from UTC which is what the UK is on the rest of the year.. sometimes I still struggle to figure out what time the sermon is!
