Star Wars TV Series

I saw this week that the new live action series will have about 100 episodes. Also Boba Fett will be heavily featured. Eventually characters from the EU will make it to TV. Who would you like to see?

I'd love to see the Yuuzhan Vong ... ^^

I`m just looking forward to seeing something from Star Wars.

LOL, in the role playing game we aren't allowed to play a Yuuzhan Vong for obvious reasons. Unfortunately my knowledge of them is very lacking. So yeah, i would like to see Kushiban, i love those little guys and i know there was a Kushiban Jedi so i think it would be cool to see one.

I thought in the interview with George Lukas, he said there were not going to be any Jedi in this series. The main characters were going to be the robots.

Didn't they try that with a cartoon, lol. Droids, wasn't it? lol

This was right. At first Lucas said their could be no Jedi. But with the projection of 400 episodes they hope to make, that would cover some time span. A Jedi might make an appearance. A young Kyle Katarn maybe.

I don`t think it will take them long to have it dubbed. But I haven`t heard anything yet.

I would like to see more indepth jedi training, including how lightsabers were bilt, and some mandelorian cameos other than Boba Fett.

You can find out how lightsabers are built by checking out the Clone Wars vol 1 dvd. Barris and Luminara are in the process of making one when they are attacked.


I just want to see some great space battles, and lots and lots of stormtroopers. I think it will be hard to make the series upbeat, we all know that the rebels take a pounding til Leia gets the Death Star plans.

I quite like Kyle Katarn yeah, but I just hope they don't show him after he has given up his powers lol. What would be the point then?

No Jedi? They can't have all died at the end of 3 except for two :blink: although this is never stated one way or the other.

Actually, there are quite a few jedi who live past Order 66 and the end of Episode 3. If you read the Rise of Darth Vader, it goes into some of those, and hints towards others who made it, but have to lay low, basically taking on normal lives and not using their powers, so as not to be found out by the Sith. The real storylines are in the books people, check them out. From what I understood about the series, its going to be about 100 episodes, which should split into 4 different series. Atleast one of those will focus mainly on Boba, for some unforsaken reason. The other three, has not been specified, but supposedly there will be very little Jedi appearances, atleast in the original things that came out about it. However, if they changed it to 400 episodes and so on, it would be likely to atleast see some jedi.

Personally I'd like to Mara Jade, how she gets recruited as an Emperor's Hand and some of the others, technically she's not a Jedi at that point, so its possible we could see something like that. Only Lucas knows I guess, the rest of us have to wait and see.

even if you read the dark horse comics of empire there is talk about jedi who survived and even in Dark Empire Vema is found by leia.

I'm not sure how I feel about it being being centered around the robots. I guess I'll have to keep an open mind until I see it.
