I have extremely long hair (down to my middle back). If I wanted to cut my hair will the braid stay the length of my original hair or should it be cut too?

Its personal preference...

We do not require specific hairstyles, nor types of dress...

At this time...;)

I believe there is an ancient Jedi text somewhere requiring Jedi Councillors to have braids though :whistle:

As for the rest of us, as Jestor said we don't have any hairstyle requirements or clothing style requirements

If you want a braid then have one :) and at any length you want :) but don't worry about us trying to force some aspect of it onto you :)

I agree. middle back is not long. Mine has been longer than that in the past.
