Back Again For IP Help

Hello! I'm a little confused as to how our Journal Entries work for IP. I saw briefly how it works, but not so much of the composure of the entry. Is it Tasks first, then how we feel\thoughts? I just dont want to do it wrong:p

As for how it works, its mostly up to you. Each lesson has a blurb at the beginning explaining what is expected of you. On the main page we can see what the point of the IP is, which to put it shortly is essentially to put forth your beliefs and viewpoints.

Tasks of course have to be completed as given (lesson 0 is usually pretty straightforward). Other lessons include reading, and then you give your views on the reading.

My advise is to take your time and go into detail. There are no wrong answers, but I do feel like there is such thing as not enough of an answer.

Not yet. As of yet I am only an Initiate (a novice that has completed the IP). Perhaps one day.

Then you must tell me! How long did it take? What was hard? Anything. You can message me if you like. I'm excited to be an initiate.

Yes, or watch/listen to the videos.

It takes a minimum of 60 days to do the IP. A lot of people take longer (I'm on lesson 5 and it's been 16 months). So far the hardest thing is figuring out how to convey thoughts clearly lol.

Also I noticed you asked Arisaig about rank. Ranks are posted under each user's picture. I've included a screen shot to point it out. Mine will say Novice for an example indicating that I am still working on the IP.

I'm Ros, one of the Knights here. Lesson 1 is Joseph Campbell. There is no book for that one, but a series of 1 hr interviews about various subjects. Its been a while since I have done the IP, but I believe the only book in it is "The Book on the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are". There is an audio version if that is more to your liking

I am not sure, ehm.. there is some Campbell material in the library. It is explained on the IP page as well.
The Taboo book is written by Allan Watts, IP lesson 2. :blush:
