Chat doesn't appear anymore but is normally has since we've been back online, though i think i may have been banned by Kit for spam. Is there any way to revoke this ?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you're probably just having the same glitch I was having earlier... Clearing your browser cache ought to fix the problem.
