This Bird - Great Egret walked by this morning as I was sitting by the river's edge.
I started to sing and it paused and stayed still with its neck extended and it's beak pointed upward.
Then, it proceeded to walk. I kept singing. Now it was out of my sight on the other side of a tree.
I kept singing. I moved my head slightly to get a view of the bird beyond the tree . . still singing.

There it was . . . in appearance of a dance . . moving the long neck front and back and then side to side at a point close to the body. What a joy!
