Darkness

Darkness was created by
Darkness transcends everything, even extending beyond existence itself. Darkness is everlasting; it is timeless. Even before there was a creation, even before there was time, space, energy, or even the Force, Darkness was. Indeed Darkness extends beyond existence. Darkness binds existence. Their cannot be light without darkness. They both need each other to be able to survive. If there was no day we would have no concept of night. They work together although they are different. They are always at the fight for balance. Lets take temperature as an example. When you are really hot your body craves the cold. As when you are really cold your body seeks to be hot again. Like Light and Dark they work together to form a balance in life. Without the light we could not have darkness, without the darkness we could not have light.
Additionally, Darkness is the drive of the primal instinct; it is the prime mover of the body, and it is the fundamental nature of consciousness. Darkness is the source of internal power, external power, and integrated power. It is my motivation, It drives to me to work with my self to advance and develop. To go beyond myself to true power over myself.
Darkness is the source of everything it is always there and always will be. It is limitless, and it has no bounds. It gives us the power to go beyond ourselves and the normal world and to break free of lives chains and use them to our advantage rather than be held back by them.
Darkness can be used as a tool providing we can control it. However without proper control it will control you. It is also a learning tool. It can teach us about all aspects of life . While the light teaches me about peace and love and the good things life has, the darkness teaches me about pain and how to have power over it. To teach me about the chaos of life. Thus teaching me about the other aspects of life that are hidden in the teachings of the light.
However The Darkness is like a sword. I have to learn to wield it. Swing it correctly without hurting others and myself. Control takes time to learn and perfect. First I must embrace the Darkness, then it embraces me. Once the two become one the Darkness will be fulfilled in me. Once the Darkness is fulfilled in me, control is the reward. Control to live life to how I want to live. Control over my own decisions and my own survival. I embrace the Darkness by harnessing its energy to give me focus and strength. By embracing it the Darkness begins to bond with me. When harnessing the energy after I have finished to process the energy lasts for a period of time depending on the strength of the energy. The more I harness and embrace the energy the easier it is to harness. Eventually being able to feel the darkness will take very little effort. It’s a lot like feeling the Force. Eventually if you do it enough you can feel it on instant. By embracing the darkness eventually it will always be there. Will be felt constantly like an extension of your self. Like part of you and not separate. I picture darkness like an inner tree. The more I expand on my dark energy the more the tree expands. It branches out and grows larger and more sturdy. The more I embrace the darkness the more my tree will grow. The Darkness at first was uncomfortable, it was the unknown, i feared it. The more I lie in it, feel it, embrace it the more comfortable it becomes. When I feel it through my body, in every breath and it running through my veins it feels good. It makes me feel alive. The more I feel it and embrace it the more I bond with it. It expands within me and grows throughout my body. It gives me focus makes me feel strong.

Damn...and I thought Darkness was myself tripping over the kitten, then stumbling over the toilet and into the shower this morning because I forgot to flip the light switch....hmmm, very enlightening! I just had this conversation (ongoing) in the Temple of the Sith forum board. You might want to check it out, oh, I see you've allready been there.

How do you know darkness transcends everything? And yeah that's kind of the point of labeling light "light" and darkness "darkness". But I don't see how light and darkness are constantly fighting to maintain balance when they are perfectly in balance... but then you claim both work together to form a balance so I'm kind of confused. So is it that they are enemies or allies? You also claim that darkness came before everything but what's your reference for this? How can you prove that? There is simply no evidence to back that statement up. Also if they both need each other to survive like you state than both light and darkness have ALWAYS existed. Because one without the other would cause both not to exist. So in reality this is a contradiction.
How is darkness the drive of primal instinct? The drive of primal instinct is the need to survive. There is no magical dark device inside of our consciousness fueling the basic drive to survive. This is just simple Darwinism.
Darkness is not the source of everything. Your first paragraph outlines your assumption that both light and darkness are a balance, and that's how both exist. I think you are confused by what type of darkness you are referring to. Which I'm going to assume, the darkness you talk about so feverishly is the generic idea of evil... which really does not exist, it only exists based on a perspective.
Darkness is not a tool, darkness is a color and you are referring to the darkness as an opposite to good. Darkness is not about pain. Pain is about pain. You can still be a part of the light and experience pain and misery. I'm not sure how darkness teaches you about pain.
And again darkness is not a tool nor is it a weapon. You are using it as a metaphor. I'm not even going to comment on the rest of this garbage.

I don't Know but I still got a knot on my head from falling in the shower this morning...lets not jump on our guest like a pack of wolves...yet. (kidding) Everyone's opinion of Darkness is bound to be different, as long as we don't express our opinions as fact, let him believe what he wants. I'm interested in hearing (reading) more of his "opinions".

So do you see darkness as superior to light (metaphorically), or do you give them equal weighting?
It is hard to tell because you discuss how one cannot exist without the other, whilst also stating that 'darkness transcends everything'.
And if you do see them as equally important, why do you (seemingly, forgive me if I am wrong) devote more of your time and efforts to studying the darkness?

Everyone is entitled to their views, just as everyone is entitled to disagree with them. However, disagreeing doesn't necessarily make them 'garbage'.
How would you feel if you voiced your thoughts and people labelled them garbage?
Even if we disagree with others, would you not agree that there is always something to be learnt from them?
